Dalla celebre registrazione Live At The Bicentennial, effettuata alla Calderone Concert Hall di New York nel luglio 1976, passando per l’acclamata tournée Playing The Fool del 1977, fino a una potente esibizione del 1980 ad Atlanta e alle eccezionali session ai Capitol Studios del 1975, questa raccolta cattura l’evoluzione dei Gentle Giant come live band.

In tutte le registrazioni emergono con forza l’affiatamento straordinario del gruppo, il virtuosismo polistrumentale e gli arrangiamenti audaci, con versioni di classici come “Free Hand”, “Proclamation”, “On Reflection”, “The Advent Of Panurge”, “Just The Same”, “Playing The Game”, “The Face”, “Funny Ways”, “Knots”, “Memories Of Old Days”, ampi estratti da “Octopus” e molti altri.
